The Add attribute dialog window provides the ability to add attributes to the Product Information Management System (PIM).
|
In order to add an attribute to the PIM, it is necessary to select an attribute type. Each attribute type is specifically designed to store and handle different types of data associated with products. Therefore, careful consideration should be given to the type of data that will be stored in the attribute and the establishment of a clear naming convention for each attribute. If a single attribute will hold multiple values then that attribute should be defined as a collection.
