Add Multiple Attributes

1. Add Multiple Attributes
The "add multiple attributes toggle" will keep the add attributes dialog open after creating each attribute. this facilitates adding multiple attributes to the PIM.

Attributes Types

2. Attributes Types
In order to add an attribute to the PIM, it is necessary to select an attribute type. Each attribute type is specifically designed to store and handle different types of data associated with products. Therefore, careful consideration should be given to the type of data that will be stored in the attribute and the establishment of a clear naming convention for each attribute. If a single attribute will hold multiple values then that attribute should be defined as a collection.

Define multiple attribute names

3. Define multiple attribute names
By defining multiple attribute labels separated by the semicolon character in the labels editing dialog, the PIM will add multiple attributes. Each attributes name and label is separated by the semicolon character. In the case demonstrated on the screenshot 3 attributes will be added of type number called height, length and width.

Once an attribute type has been selected the properties for the attribute must be defined.  An explanation of each attributes properties and their impact on the PIM and product data have been defined in a help topic for each attribute type.  Common properties es include the attributes label, the attribute name, description and group.

For more information about the properties that can be defined for each attribute please refer to the help topics below:
