Lesson 3: Advanced Attributes

The next step in getting all your data organized an into the PIM is to create additional attributes and import more data. This cycle continues until all of your data is in the PIM.  You can repeat the import process as required to add additional attribute data to existing SKU's or products or to add new products or both.

This lesson represents a good time to learn how to add an attributes using a different method than we used in Lesson 1.    Attributes can also be added using the powerful "Advanced Attribute" functionality that provides many more options for individual attributes.

Here is how a string attribute is added to the PIM: using Advanced settings.  A string attribute is where data like the products description and title or short name are stored in lessons one and two. Lets add a string attribute for storing the item's "Spanish Description"
